How Sessions Work:

 

One on One Sessions

Maybe you attend Masters Swim practices and are not getting the personal attention you may need to progress, or maybe you just do better in a one on one environment. I love teaching one on one because there are NO distractions and we can hone in on what you are wanting for a restult and get to work!

 

These sessions are held at a pool (you must provide the pool, and it cannot be a public pool. What works is an association or other private pool (I find this is not as hard as it seems, we can work together on this to find a pool that will work) or the ocean.

 

Video is part of your package as this is a great opportunity to see where you start. We do video on the first day of your sessions, and the last day.

 

PRIVATE Sessions:

4 x 1 hr Sessions $450 

8 x 1 hr Sessions $800

16 x 1 hr Sessions $1500

SEMI-PRIVATE Sessions (if you would like to gather friends or split between friends, caveat that there be similar speed and skills of each person to qualify as a good candidates for semi-private): 

2 or 3 persons = $300 Each for 4 Session Class

​

 

WORKSHOPS are 4 classes, 1 per week for 4 weeks. 

Phase 1 Workshop is for adults who are learning to swim with a specific goal in mind (for example a triathlon) and have either never been taught technique or have but are seeing your times get better. 

We work in class on building a STRONG FOUNDATION FIRST. You do not build a house on sand, you build it on concrete....that being said, that means that you MUST have a good water skills and stroke efficiency to swim well. 

I will give personalized specific instruction to each person (that is why I keep the classes small). Each class builds on the class before, so it is imperative you plan to do your HOMEWORK between classes. 

You will be videoed on the first and last class of the 4 week session.

Class size max is 8-10 students.

$250 per person for the 4 week WORKSHOP (4 persons plus)

Specific Group 1 day Clinics or 4 week STROKE EFFICIENCY WORKSHOP 

For Triathletes and Tri Clubs, specific content is taught for your specfic race strategies and goals. Getting ready for all the race variables of swimming in open water at races requires focus on the realities of swimming amongst a few hundred people, enter & exit strategies from the ocean in surf, how to sight, building confidence, how to race efficiently so you come out of the water refreshed, no fried, so that you can race your bike and run portion with gusto!

As an instructor I pay very close to patterns or things that are happening amongst my students and lately (last 5 years) I started to notice 2 things creeping in...

​

1. People are solely focused on doing the miles and the data they get from their technology. They have adopted the "more is better" motto and it has crept into their psyche and their entire focus, yet not understanding they are leaving out their true power, it is being left on the table.

 

Have you ever felt like you could have done better on race day? Have you ever felt so incredibly anxious and nervous before or during races that you made costly mistakes? Have you ever DNF'd a race? or quit an event? Are you stuck getting the same results over and over again, not able to break your own personal glass ceiling?...if so, keep reading.

2. Multitasking. Everyone is so immersed in "multitasking". Have you heard the phrase "Jack of all trades, good at nothing"? Well, it iterates the point perfectly here. While you are trying to do everything all at once, you are actually doing nothing well, because nothing gets ALL your focus and attention. This leads to results that are "half-assed" or just NOT what you wanted.

Did you know that your Mental Game determines ALL of your results or lack there of?

 

Did you know you actually have to set aside time and practice your MENTAL GAME? It literally is something you practice, it is not just a race day thing.

I started teaching one on one and small groups again, and the results with my athletes, not only in their sports but in their lives, have been ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!
